About Khawzawl
A ridge town on NH-6 about 150 km from Aizawl and 40 km short of Champhai, made a district headquarters in 2019. Most people see it as the lunch halt on the long drive east, and that is honest: a market, churches, a ridge with views over the folds of country towards Champhai. If Champhai is full, it is the place to sleep.
