About Badshahi Bagh, Khajuha
On 5 January 1659 Aurangzeb defeated his brother Shah Shuja on the plain at Khajuha and settled the succession. He marked it with a large sarai on the Grand Trunk Road and a walled Mughal garden, the Badshahi Bagh, with a tank and pavilions. Both are worn but stand, and the sarai gateway is impressive. Combine with Bawani Imli next door.
