About Kannauj Archaeological Museum
A small state museum holding what the plough and the brick-diggers have turned up from Kanyakubja, the city of Harsha and the Pratiharas that once rivalled anything in India. Terracottas, Gupta and Pratihara sculpture, coins. Not large, and the labels are thin, but it is the only place the old capital is visible at all.
