About Hnahthial
A ridge town on the Aizawl to Lunglei highway, about 45 kilometres before Lunglei, which became the headquarters of a new district in 2019. It is a stop rather than a destination: a market, churches, a view east over the Tuipui valley, and a place to break the long drive south. The district has no developed sights, which is honest to say.
