About Harihar Fort (Harshagad)
Harihar is famous for one thing: a staircase of about 117 steps cut directly into an 80-degree rock face, with shallow grooves for handholds. It is the single most photographed trek feature in the Sahyadris. The fort plateau at the top is small, with a temple, a water tank and a Hanuman idol.
What to see and do

- Rock-cut entrance gate at the top of the steps
- Small temple and water cisterns on the plateau
