About Ganpatipule
A swayambhu Ganesh at the foot of a hill, right behind one of the cleanest white-sand beaches in Konkan. The pradakshina here means walking a full circuit around the hill itself rather than the shrine, about a kilometre.
What to see and do
- Swayambhu Ganesh facing west toward the sea
- Pradakshina around the whole hill
- White-sand beach directly behind the temple
- Jaigad fort and Ratnagiri nearby
