About Deolia Fort
The capital of the Sisodia state of Devliya before Maharawat Pratap Singh built Pratapgarh in 1698 and moved down the hill. What is left is a fort with palace buildings, gateways and temples inside, on a rise above the village 12 km from Pratapgarh town. Much of it is falling in, but the scale of the old capital is clear enough to make the trip worthwhile.
