About Boleng
The headquarters of the newer Siang district, a small town on the right bank of the Siang between Pasighat and Yingkiong. The river is the reason to stop: broad, fast and grey-green, with the road following it closely on either side. There is a market and a couple of basic lodges. Most travellers pass through on the way to Yingkiong or Aalo.
