About Bhareh Fort and Pachnada
Pachnada is the meeting of five rivers, the Chambal, Yamuna, Sind, Kunwari and Pahuj, in a country of deep ravines where the Chambal dacoits once hid. The Sengar Rajput fort at Bhareh looks over it, part ruined and part lived in. A Kartik Purnima fair fills the sandbanks. The ravines are easy to get lost in and the banks collapse; go with someone local.
