About Belon Devi and Narora Ghat
Belon Devi is a hilltop-style Devi temple near Narora that draws big Navratri crowds from three districts. Narora itself has the Ganga barrage at the head of the Lower Ganga Canal, a Ramsar-listed stretch of river with Gangetic dolphin, gharial and winter birds, and the atomic power station as the backdrop. Keep to the ghats; the barrage channels run fast.
