About Barehipani Falls
A two stage fall of about 399 metres in the Simlipal forest, counted among the tallest in India. The water drops from the Budhabalanga river into a deep gorge, and the viewpoint is reached on a short walk from the road inside the park. You need a Simlipal permit, and the vehicle and guide are compulsory. It is at its fullest right after the rains, but the park is shut then, so the winter flow is what most people see.
