About Baglihar Dam
A hydroelectric dam on the Chenab, with a deep gorge and a calm green reservoir behind it. It is a roadside viewpoint more than a destination, but the scenery of the river and the cliffs is good. Photography near the dam may be restricted, so follow the instructions of the guards on duty.
