About Amangarh Tiger Reserve
The UP side of the Corbett landscape, 95 square kilometres of sal and grassland that were part of Corbett until the state was split in 2000 and became a tiger reserve in 2012. Tigers and elephants move freely across the boundary and sightings have been good since safaris opened in 2023. Far fewer jeeps than Corbett and a fraction of the fuss.
