About Wular Lake
One of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia, fed by the Jhelum, with a shoreline that changes with the season. It is a Ramsar wetland and a good place to see migratory birds from winter to early spring. Local fisherfolk use traditional boats, and boating is possible from Bandipora and the Watlab side. Sunset over the water is lovely.
