About Wai Ghats & Dholya Ganpati
Wai has seven stone ghats along the Krishna and enough temples to have earned the nickname Dakshin Kashi. The Dholya Ganpati is a very large seated stone image on the main ghat. Hindi cinema has used these steps so often that you will recognise them before you arrive.
