About Vijethua Mahaviran
A large Hanuman temple on the spot where, in the Ramayana telling, Hanuman killed the demon Kalnemi on his way to fetch the Sanjeevani herb. The Makari Kund tank beside it is part of the same story. Tuesdays and Saturdays are busy, the Kartik month more so. About 35 km east of Sultanpur.
