About Sumargad
The middle fort of the trio and much the hardest of the three. The connecting ridge is narrow, the route is easy to lose and there is no water. Nobody should attempt it in the monsoon, and few should attempt it without a guide.
What to see and do
- Narrow connecting ridge from Rasalgad
- Exposed sections needing care
- Almost no visitors at any time of year
Part of Sahyadri (Western Ghats).
