About Samdruptse Hill
A hill above Namchi topped with a very large statue of Guru Padmasambhava, about 118 feet high, which is one of the tallest of the saint in the world. Samdruptse means the wish fulfilling hill. There are wide views over the Rangeet valley and, on clear days, the snow peaks of Kanchenjunga. It is near the Char Dham, so most people do both.
