About Raga
The headquarters of Kamle, formed in 2018 from parts of Lower and Upper Subansiri, in the hills between Ziro and Daporijo. Raga is a Nyishi and Hill Miri town; the Hill Miri, the Nyishi of the Kamle valley, are a distinct group with their own dress and the Boori Boot festival on 6 February. A slow road in from either side, a circuit house, and no tourism to speak of.
