About Pench Tiger Reserve

The forest that gave Kipling the setting for The Jungle Book, straddling the Maharashtra-Madhya Pradesh border. Tiger sightings are good, the teak forest is beautiful in itself, and the Maharashtra gates at Sillari and Khursapar are far quieter than the MP side.
