About Pangti Village and Doyang Reservoir
A Lotha Naga village on the Doyang reservoir that sees thousands of Amur falcons stop to feed each year in October and November, on their long journey from Siberia to Africa. The villagers took to protecting them after a rescue effort and the area is now known for the migration. The birds can be seen roosting along the wires and trees at dawn and dusk. Go with a local guide, keep a distance, and avoid loud noise.
