About Palin and the Kra River
The main town of Kra Daadi on the Kra river, about 100 km and four to five hours from Ziro on a road that is being widened and is a mess while it is. It is a Nyishi trading town, the halt on the way to Koloriang, with a few lodges and the only proper market in the district. The Kra runs clear and fast below the town in the cold months.
