About Padargad (Kalvantin of Junnar)
A rarely attempted pinnacle beside Jivdhan and Naneghat, needing rope for the final section. Even experienced Sahyadri trekkers often go years without doing it, which is exactly the appeal for those who chase the obscure ones.
What to see and do
- Technical roped final section
- Naneghat and Jivdhan alongside
- Old rock-cut steps, partly collapsed
- Genuinely rare summit
Part of Sahyadri (Western Ghats).
