About Jama Masjid Moradabad
Built in 1631 by Rustam Khan, the Mughal governor who founded the city and named it for Prince Murad Bakhsh, inside the fort he raised on the high bank of the Ramganga. The fort is mostly gone but the mosque stands with its three domes and the river below. The old city that grew around it is the brass quarter.
