About Matheran Trails
Asia's only vehicle-free hill station, no cars at all, just walking, horses and a hand-pulled rickshaw or two. Thirty-eight named viewpoints are linked by red-laterite forest paths, and a narrow-gauge toy train climbs up from Neral when weather permits.
