About Manohar-Mansantoshgad
Twin forts on the Goa border, so overgrown that the walls only appear once you are right on them. Long approach, thick forest, almost no other trekkers, this feels more like an expedition than a day hike.
What to see and do
- Two connected forts on one ridge
- Heavy forest cover and faint trails
- Goa border views from the summit
- Water cisterns hidden in the undergrowth
Part of Sahyadri (Western Ghats).
