About Khecheopalri Lake

A small sacred lake in a forest, said to be a wishing lake, with a footprint of Guru Padmasambhava on the rocks nearby. Leaves that fall on the water are quickly picked out by birds, which is why it looks so clean. Visitors are asked to remove their shoes, not to swim, and keep quiet. It is about 30 km from Pelling, on the way to Yuksom.
