About Kalatop Khajjiar Wildlife Sanctuary
A forest sanctuary of deodar, oak and rhododendron between Dalhousie and Khajjiar. It is a home of the Himalayan black bear, Himalayan goral, leopard and a rich variety of birds. A permit is required, and the walks are pleasant. It is the best short forest trail near Dalhousie.
