About Jampui Hills

The highest hill range in Tripura, along the border with Mizoram, known for orange orchards, cool air and big sky views, with Betlingchhip as the highest point at about 970 metres. The Mizo villages here, such as Vanghmun and Hmunpui, run quiet homestays. The orange season, from November to December, and the clear winter mornings are the best time. The road from Agartala is long, so take a night in a homestay, and check road conditions.
