About Govind Sahab Dham
The samadhi of the saint Govind Sahab in Alapur tehsil, and the site of one of the biggest rural fairs in eastern UP. The mela runs for about a month from Agahan Dashmi in November or December, with a huge cattle market, sweet stalls and everything a village fair has ever sold. Come during the fair; otherwise it is a quiet temple.
