About Gobind Sagar Lake
A huge reservoir on the Sutlej behind the Bhakra Dam, with calm blue water, small islands and mountains all around. Water sports such as boating and kayaking run in the season, and the Luhnu ground hosts a water sports festival. The lake covers the old town of Bilaspur, and the temples of the old town can be seen in the dry season.
