About Bhairavgad (Moroshi)
The Moroshi Bhairavgad is one of the hardest single-day objectives in the Sahyadris, an 80-ft near-vertical rock patch with rusted iron pegs, climbed on fixed rope. The fort at the top is tiny. People come entirely for the wall. Do not confuse it with the Bhairavgad near Shirpunje.
What to see and do
- The 80-ft vertical rock patch
- Fixed-rope ascent and rappel descent
- Malshej Ghat valley views
- Bhairavnath shrine on the summit
Part of Sahyadri (Western Ghats).
