About Bagmati Ghats, Belwa
The Bagmati comes down from Nepal through the north of Sheohar district, and the ghats around Belwa are where the district bathes on Chhath and Kartik Purnima. The river floods badly every monsoon and the banks are unstable; go in the dry months. There is nothing built here, just the river, the embankment and the fields.
