About Aguwani Ghat
The Ganga ghat on the Khagaria bank opposite Sultanganj, where the ferry has long carried kanwariyas and traders across. The Aguwani-Sultanganj road bridge being built here made national news when sections of it fell into the river in 2022 and again in 2023; work continues. The ferry, the wide river and the view of Ajgaibinath on its rock across the water are the reasons to come.
What to see and do
- Ferry across the Ganga to Sultanganj
- View of Ajgaibinath temple on its rock
- The much-delayed bridge
- Kanwariya traffic in Shravan
